Information and Policies
Our goal is to ensure that you receive high-quality food and superior service provided in a warm, friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves in working with you to create a catering package customized for your needs, and in your budget.
Pricing
Prices quoted do not include sales tax, 18% service fee, rental equipment charges and delivery charges (if applicable).
Deposits
A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to confirm your event date and time.
Guest Count
Menu selections and a firm guarantee of number of meals ordered are due a minimum of 14 days prior to event – if not received by such date, the guarantee number listed on the provided BEO contract will be the number charged. We guarantee your guest count will be served - we supply an additional 5% overage for unexpected guests. If you serve over the guaranteed number, you will be charged for the additional guests. Guaranteed guest count may be increased only, up to two days prior to the event
Billing and Payments
Upon determination of final menu, River City Catering will provide a Banquet Event Order (BEO) contract. This contract must be signed and returned with a 20% deposit by date listed on contract.
An updated BEO will be sent with final guest count and the balance will be due ten days prior to the event. Any event adjustments will be applied following your event.
Service Charge
There is an 18% service charge applied to all functions for administration, production and equipment.
Delivery
River City Catering delivers within the St. Croix River Valley, Twin Cities and greater metropolitan area - delivery charges are based on mileage and a quote will be provided by your catering manager.
Staffing
Staffing needs are dependent on the size and scope of individual events. A minimum of two attendants are provided for all events. One attendant is required for every 40 – 50 guests for a buffet meal to manage buffet lines, beverage service (if applicable), clear guest tables and final clean-up. If service time is longer than two hours an additional staffing charge may apply. Attendants for filling/refilling water glasses at guest tables during your meal are available for an additional fee. When using china, glassware and silverware, additional attendants may be required for an additional fee.
Rentals
We are happy to assist you in securing décor elements, tents, tables, chairs, linens and any other rentals to make your event complete – please discuss with your catering manager.
Event Service/Clean-up
River City Catering is responsible for the set-up of buffet / beverage table(s) and clean up of our food preparation area and buffet / beverage lines. It is your responsibility to ensure that the required venue cleanliness is upheld before your departure. Exact tear-down and cleaning responsilbities will be determined with your catering manager prior to your event.
